From Akureyri: Lake Myvatn and Godafoss Guided Tour

4.Lake Myvatn and Godafoss Guided Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 14 reviews · 7 hours · from $223Best value

Travel from Akureyri with an English-speaking guide to Goðafoss, Lake Mývatn, Hverir’s sulfur pools, Grjótagjá lava cave, Höfði, and Skútustaðagígar. The small-group tour includes hotel transport, but the Myvatn Nature Baths admission and food are extra. Guides have included Norbert and Jon.

“A pleasant tour with beautiful scenery, although disappointing changes on the day. Entry to the lagoon was not included (as it had been on previous tours), and the lagoon visit was changed due to refurbishment without prior notice, had we known earlier, we would have cancelled and visited Goðafoss independently. The bus heating also wasn’t working, which made the journey uncomfortable.”
